What helps for #acidreflux #Gerd
I want you all, who suffer from #acidreflux ❤️🔥like me… where it’s unbearable, to try out something my #WalkInDoctor started to prescribe to me.
For the past 2 or 3 years, I’ve only been taking #pantoprazole, which is a type of medicine called a proton pump inhibitor (PPI).
And I would take that once a day. Proton pumps are enzymes in the lining of your stomach that help it make acid to digest your food. Pantoprazole prevents proton pumps from working properly. This reduces the amount of acid the stomach makes.
It wasn’t helping that much, I’d still wake up with excruciating pain. So finally, after a couple of years, still experiencing #holyfrickthisiswayworsethanjustheartburn,
I told the Dr. I needed something stronger for my acid reflux. So she prescribed something that changed my life for the better.
It’s called #TEVASucralfate and coats the lining of your stomach. You take it when you wake up, around noon, and later in the evening, 3 or 4 times.
Do you have acid reflux or #gerd? Consider trying this out; using both Pantoprazole & TEVA Sucralfate. Speak with your Dr., and message me if the combo of these 2 meds has helped you as well.
I’d love to hear a tip from me was helpful to others and made them feel better. 🤗
